Cleanse With Me! Shopping List & Prep
Last month we discussed the importance of the liver, one of our main detoxification organs. Spring is the best time to detox and cleanse your liver, so over the next 7 days we'll cleanse together! I've been on the road a lot so far this spring, and I'm ready for a nice post-winter detox.
The list below is what you'll need to get started. It's a pretty extensive list, so pick and choose what you think you'll like best in each category (except for the supplements - you'll want to pick up both of them).
Every day this week I'll update you with your meals and snacks - and I'll be following along, too! If you have questions while we go, just leave them in the comments.

7-Day Cleanse Shopping List
Meat (organic, free-range, grass-fed and antibiotic and hormone-free):
Legumes (BPA-free canned or, if you have the time to soak them, dried):
- black beans
- pinto beans, etc.
Nuts and seeds (organic if possible):
- brazil nuts
- pumpkin seeds
- hemp seeds
- organic brown rice
- gluten-free oats
Pasta (okay as long as you're using noodles made with the above grains)
Veggies - GO NUTS!
- swiss chard
- dandelion greens
- beet tops
- collard greens
- Brussels sprouts
- green beans
- sweet potatoes
Fruits - stick to low glycemic
- organic green
- organic herbal
Nut milks (pick your favourite and make it unsweetened, of course!):
- coconut sugar
- maple syrup/honey (small amounts)
Protein powders (for smoothies):
