A Smoothie for Your Hormones

Yesterday I shared 5 things you can do to starting balancing your hormones, and this smoothie is a great place to start! It starts your day off with a heaping helping of vegetables AND berries, two of my top recommendations for helping your hormones and improving your overall well-being.


Maca Berry Green Shake


  • 3 cups spinach
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries (or raspberries, blackberries, mangoes, papaya, etc.)
  • 1 tablespoon flax oil
  • 1 tablespoon maca powder (optional but so energizing and delicious, we definitely recommend it!)
  • 1 tablespoon spirulina AND/OR 1 scoop Clean Greens
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • a few drops of stevia to taste (for desired sweetness, although you may not need it with the berries)


Put all ingredients in a high-powered blender and blend until smooth.
